It’s like an analog Facebook friends list, only with people you know.
Stop back out and connect more string to all the new people you may know, and perhaps make some new friends in the process.
Throughout the month, we’ll be posting the statistics on the project, including how many photos, strings, and connections are made.
We’ll make a time-lapse image of the progress, and may even make it an animated GIF to keep with the low-tech coolio feel. Help us update by posting your event photos to our flickr group.
It will also feel good to know all that leftover string will go to a good cause: teams of knitting volunteers will be making hats for Omaha’s homeless out of it.
